The 1970′s-1980’s enamel vintage enamel jewellery has now arrived at Adorn Anew. It has been sorted and cleaned and the majority, mainly earrings and brooches, are now listed and ready to buy.
Some of the items, stunning enamel pendants, are awaiting new chains and jump rings, which I have on order. Chains on some well loved pendants can have a bit too much wear and tear, which is detrimental to the look of the pendant, or may have a fastening that is less than secure. I normally replace them at no extra cost so that the pendant can be worn immediately.
The cloisonne work in enamel is so pretty and colourful as they are all hand painted and worked and this makes them really individual. Known quality makers of enamel jewellery at its’ peak in the eighties were Fish, Fish Crown, Fish Fine Enamels and Sea Gems UK. A lot of work was unsigned, but the quality was still there and subjects included flowers, butterflies, animals and birds.
Watch this space for when we list our pendants, it should be some time next week.
Anne, Adorn Anew
